This one’s a little different… Instead of us bringing the craft, you do.
Bring whatever you’ve been meaning to finish, start, or finally pick back up: knitting, drawing, journaling, embroidery, collage, mending, painting, or any other silly little project living at the bottom of your bag.
This isn’t a workshop. There’s no structure, no expectations, no pressure to be “good” at anything. It’s simply a cosy, creative hang, a space to sit around a table with other like-minded people, get your hands busy, and exist together for a few hours.
💭 come for:
- finally working on that project you keep putting off
- a calm, screen-free evening
- meeting creative, like-minded people
- doing something with your hands while chatting away
🌈 the vibe:
low-pressure
queer-friendly & welcoming
soft, social, a little chaotic
come as you are
✨ this session is free to attend, but if you’d like to support us in keeping these going, we’ll have an option to donate. no pressure at all, we’re just happy to have you there.
Whether you’re deep in a project or just bringing something simple to keep your hands busy, there’s space for it all.
✂️ about the silly little craft club
We’re two friends (Lara & Pat) who love nothing more than sitting around the kitchen table, chatting, unwinding, and doing silly little crafts for our silly mental health. It has become a small but joyful ritual, and we’d love to share that connection with more people.
We crave doing things with our hands, experimenting new techniques, without the pressure of making things perfect. We want to create a space where we’re able to fail and try again, surrounded by people who value the same things as us: creating more, and consuming less. For the sheer pleasure of making stuff. So we started a craft club! If this sounds like you, join us!!
We set up monthly sessions where we try new things together and we are building a little crafty community on Whatsapp where we share projects and stay in touch. Even if you can’t make this session you can join the group here!
