Free the Land, Free the People is a teach-in and creative writing space for young people (aged 18-30) exploring land justice as part of MSJI’s School of Community Power.
Together, we’ll think about land through histories of theft, enclosure, colonialism, displacement, and resistance, and reflect on what it means to struggle for liberation in relation to the land.
Through shared political education and guided creative writing, this space invites young people to learn, write, imagine, and build together. No previous writing experience is needed, just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to reflect collectively.
