In The Making
In The Making is a new artist platform from Project X, creating space for works in progress, early ideas and creative experiments.
This informal sharing invites audiences into process rather than polished product. Across the evening, a group of artists will each share up to 10 minutes of work they are currently developing. The focus is on exploration, risk and offering a glimpse into where artists are right now.
In The Making is about witnessing creativity in motion and being in the room for the thinking, testing and imagining that usually happens behind the scenes. There will be moments for audiences to sit with the work and opportunities for conversation with the artists.
The event takes place at The Art School Glasgow in an intimate, welcoming setting that keeps the focus on the artists and their ideas.

Our line up is made up of Michael Arowolo, Jessica Paris, Laura Mathana, patsy and Mawaddah. Michael will share an excerpt from a new work in development. Jess will perform some original music accompanied by movement. Laura is experimenting with different movement styles as part of developing her own movement language. Mawaddah will talk through their creative process while sharing audio materials that inform their work. patsy will speak about their craft and their ways of working as an artist and creative entrepreneur.
