Digitally Securely Collectively
JOIN US AT THE NEXT DIGITALLY SECURELY COLLECTIVELY WORKSHOP!
Yes, we're back with a quirky name because (finally!) there are so many new events about digital security popping up in London every month.
Our next meetup is on Sunday July 12th from 3PM to 5PM at The People's Letters (395 Cambridge Heath Road, Bethnal Green, London, E2 9RA)
This month we will look into VPNs. What they are, how they work, how can we use them and why the UK wants to ban them. We will also deep into the Tor network and the other projects created by the The Tor Project. And since oppression is a hot topic, we will look into Google mission to limit development freedom on Android and the Keep Android Open campaign which aims to fight against it. It is recommended to bring laptops and/or phones.
Everyone is invited to bring their own topic of interest to discuss. We can collectively decide to change the direction of the meetup.
