How about a top that is just too plain for your super cool self? Nah nah sew on some buttons & beads galore! (+ learn the proper couture way to sew a button on )
And that holey jumper you’re deffffffinitely going to learn to darn within the next year… diva let’s accept reality, learn to visible mend or add some star, heart, etc patches!

Sxc Scraps is run by a sewist of over 17 years, and has been a full-time sewing + sustainability teacher for the past two years, running classes & workshops for all ages and skill levels.
Her mission: teaching people to extend the lifecycle of clothing and save as much textile waste from going to landfill - with style, slogans, and a bit of spice!
Materials:
Bring a garment or other textile that you would like to upcycle (such as denim, to make patches)
All other are provided, but we encourage you to bring along any fabric, textile scraps, buttons or beads that you might like to use/have been sitting around forever - we’ll teach you how to give them new life!
