K. Blair
K.Blair is a self confessed fried egg enjoyer and tells everyone the same fact about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. They are 25/26 Barbican Young Poet, and were a 24/25 Barbican Young Film Programmer, helping to curate the Chronic Youth Film Festival: Against All Odds. Christy Ku
Christy Ku is a London based poet, playwright, actor and workshop facilitator. She is a James Berry Poetry Prize 2024 commended poet. Christy has performed on Benjamin Zephaniah’s BAFTA award winning TV show ‘Life and Rhymes’ and was chosen by Simon Armitage to perform at his Freedom of the City of London Award and at Latitude Festival 2025. Her debut play was long-listed for the Women’s Prize for Playwriting 2025. She has worked with organisations including the BBC, Sky Arts, Apples & Snakes, Science Museum and the Barbican on projects such as poetry films, spoken word tracks and theatre shows.
Rebecca Cooney
Rebecca Cooney is a journalist and performance poet whose poetry explores themes of feminism, home, mental illness, folklore and empire. Her debut pamphlet, Where The Lights Come On, was published in July 2023 by Allographic. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall as a Hammer & Tongue National Slam finalist and on the Poetry & Words stage at Glastonbury Festival, and was longlisted for the 2020 Outspoken Poetry Prize. She is a member of the Fantastic Writers Collective, and contributed to the collective's poetry and short story anthology Running With the Pack, which is out now.
