ABOUT
SONAR is a London-based queer men's group creating spaces for honest conversation, emotional exploration and meaningful connection. Through facilitated circles and body-based practices like breathwork and sound, SONAR supports men of all backgrounds to reflect, share openly and relate more consciously to themselves and others. Rooted in care, accountability and curiosity, it offers a grounded, inclusive approach to masculinity and collective wellbeing.
OUR EVENTS & WHAT TO EXPECT
SONAR gatherings are intentionally held spaces designed to support both inner reflection and collective connection. Each event brings together men from diverse backgrounds to explore themes around masculinity, identity, relationships and emotional wellbeing in a structured, trauma-aware environment. A typical session may include guided check-ins, facilitated group dialogue and optional sharing, allowing participants to speakhonestly at their own pace. Alongside conversation, we incorporate body-based practices such as breathwork, gentle movement or sound baths to support regulation, presence and deeper integration. You can expect a balance of structure and openness clear agreements around confidentiality, respect and consent, alongside space for authentic expression.
There is no pressure to "perform" or disclose; participation is always voluntary and listening is valued as much as speaking. Our events are suitable for both those new to men's work and those with prior experience. Whether you're seeking reflection, connection or simply a space to be with others without judgement, SONAR offers a grounded environment to explore, strengthen and connect with yourself and others.
