A safe, social space to walk, talk and reconnect
The ICI Walk ‘n’ Talk is back for 2026. For our first walk of 2026, we will be continuing the Thames Path, journeying from Staines through to the historic town of Windsor.

This route offers a wonderful variety of scenery as we reconnect with nature.

🌊 Peaceful riverside paths along the Thames
🥪 Exploring Runnymede and the Magna Carta tea rooms
🏰 Spectacular views of Windsor Castle as we approach the finish
🌿 Reconnecting with nature and community

📍 Route: Staines to Windsor
📅 Date: Sunday 17th May 2026
🕚 Meet: 11:00 am, London Waterloo Station ( Customer Assistance Kiosk, between Burger King and Platform 12)
🚆 Depart: 11:25 am train to Staines
🏁 Finish: Windsor (Aiming to be back in London no later than 5:00 pm)
📏 Distance: Approx. 13.4 km / 8.3 miles
⏱️ Duration: 3.5 to 4 hours walking plus lunch and breaks
💪 Fitness: Leisurely pace, but please note the distance
🐾 Dogs: Welcome!
🆓 Cost: Free event, Everyone welcome

🧺 We will stop for a picnic lunch at the Magna Carta tea rooms at Runnymede
🚻 Toilets are available at the lunch stop
🍏 Please bring your own picnic lunch and plenty of water
🛒 We will have the chance to visit the supermarket or shops in Staines before we set off

🎫 Please ensure you purchase your train tickets before arriving at the meeting point
🚉 We will finish the walk in Windsor and take the train back to London from there
🚍 Alternative options from Staines include the Number 8 bus to Slough if needed
