Hey Theatre Fam,
For our next Theatre Club outing, we’re heading to the Young Vic Theatre to see CARE on 29 May at 7.30pm.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Step behind the closed doors of an underfunded elder care facility to witness a devastatingly honest exposure of our broken care system. In this urgent and deeply human production, dignity constantly battles brutal rationing, trapping vibrant residents in a chaotic reality of strict seven-minute washes and single hygienic wipes.
Yet, amidst the facility's flickering lights and the crushing guilt of fractured families who traded their life savings for a cheap room, unexpected flashes of profound tenderness emerge.
Crackling with messy, interrupted dialogue and dark humour, this unforgettable story sounds a heartbreaking alarm bell about how we treat our most vulnerable.

Our Theatre Club has a special limited allocation of tickets for just £5 (instead of £50), plus a £1 transaction fee.
You can also add a small donation at checkout if you’d like to support the project and the work behind it. That would be really appreciated 💖
‼️Limited tickets are available with this special offer. First come, first served — so book ASAP to avoid disappointment ‼️
You’ll book here, and then I’ll send you the details of the meet-up point. You’ll collect your ticket on the day.
And as always, Theatre Club is not about being an expert, knowing the “right” thing to say, or arriving with a polished opinion. It’s about meeting people, making new friends, and experiencing theatre and dance together in an informal, friendly, completely unpretentious way.
Come for the show, stay for a chat after if you fancy. Everyone is welcome.
Can't wait to see you there!
