The Divine Fringe Presents…
Queera Nightly: Scream in the Mirror
Scream in the Mirror is a one-actor musical exploring the psyche of a trans woman, which shatters into six pieces following an encounter with a dark presence in her bedroom mirror.
Written and performed by San Francisco drag queen Queera Nightly, the play presents as a visual concept album more so than traditional theater.
Through projection, lighting, special effects, and a fully original soundtrack, Queera embodies the six aspects of the woman's psyche as distinct drag personas seeking to manipulate, deride, and ultimately destroy one another.
Scream in the Mirror is a venomous, experimental, synth-heavy experience that finds hope in the cracks of a dark subconscious.
