Piehouse Presents, our in-house event series platforming artists, returns with a special lineup curated and headlined by friend of the venue FLORALIS!
Floralis is an iconic anarchist, electronic, anti-imperialist emo artist, whose music makes you dance, think, and reflect on your politics all at the same time. She's currently mentoring a group of queer and trans artists as part of our artist mentorship program, and we feel so lucky to be able to work with her.
She'll be joined by Ayu Mesi, "Aggressively British", a reassembled mess of UK rave, mangled samples and tender songwriting swathed together in a haze vaguely resembling a moodier brand of emo-tronica / hyperpop.
The lineup also features the amazing Jay Taylor, a london-based DJ and music maker working with uptempo, hyperpunk and alternative music through a queer and trans lens.
