The Whitstable Artists’ Forum and the Horsebridge Arts Centre are very pleased to announce that they are hosting Hettie Judah for one of her After Sessions at The Horsebridge Arts Centre on Wednesday 24 June 2026, 6.30pm to 8.30pm
The After Sessions are held in the spirit of Hettie Judah’s new book ‘How to Enter the Art World…After a late start, a first career, illness, raising children, a crisis of confidence, leaving it in disgust.…’ and they are run by Hettie with the idea of creating space for people to connect, share their work and learn from one another's questions.
The session will start with short presentations by four Whitstable artists:
David Adams @davids_headcases
Susan Jessop @naturescardigan
Kim O’Neil @kimoneilstudio
Sue Westergaard @suewestergaard
These four artists have arrived at their current art practice after some of the following afters … another career, being a primary care-giver, having children, studying, domestic abuse, living abroad …
Following their presentations there will be an hour-long Q & A run by Hettie during which you can ask about her work, the art world and mentoring advice.
Refreshments will be served (complimentary tea and coffee and a pay bar) and there will also an opportunity to buy a signed copy of Hettie’s new book ‘How to Enter the art World After ….’
