The Divine Fringe Presents…
Split Bill: The Absence of the spoonful of sugar & FFS! A noodle doodle cabaret about edges (WIP)
Danny Banany: The Absence of the spoonful of sugar
The Absence of the Spoonful of Sugar is a bittersweet love making practice in the shape of a performance piece.
Years of intertwined analog and digital encounters and intimacy challenged by precarious living, neurodivine reality filters and healing processes, Danny Banany and Pozsi B. Kolor aka HoardBae finally find a format to become one.
Layering, linking and filtering serially reproduced mainstream art like fragments of music, channeled doodle visuals, poetry and dance, the two artists overcome the distance that seperates them, offering a panorama of sensory arousal and a political peek into their personal perspectives. Oscillating between a psychedelic fever dream and queer class conscious discourse, Danny and Pozsi perform their act of artistic intimacy with thousands of miles between them.

Timberlina: FFS! A noodle doodle cabaret about edges (WIP)
Timberlina is off on their first foray to EDINBURGH FRINGE with their kooky new cabaret and you’re invited to help them on their way…
Ever wondered what it would be like to weave your way through life more gently, like a hedgerow? Ever considered the paradox of wanting to slow down but can't escape the fast pace of constant comparison and consumer culture?
Then join world's number one eco-bearded drag lady Timberlina who is back to bless our lives with FFS!! A Noodle Doodle Show about Edges.
Part existential observation on the enigma that is ‘living' on the fringe in late stage Capitalism, part precocious piano recital, ALL Permaculture principle number 11 (which teaches us to use edges and value the margins).
Think borders, think boundries, think 'who is this person sitting next to me and what kind of plant might they be?' as Timberlina arms you with a piece of paper to set yourself free... It's what one WIP @ The Divine punter described as a ’Spiritual Reset’.
Timberlina has been haplessly producing seamlessly shambolic shows for two decades. Their warmth, wit and boundless curiosity for the meaning of life has kept them in demand just below the radar of the mainstream.
They co-created the cult hit Stark Dallas Naked with Jonny Woo and David Mills, hosted the Big Bingo Show at the legendary RVT for 15 years, and served chaotic queer events at bastions of high culture and dive bars of ill repute alike. They've performed internationlly and, with a penchent for Queer history programmed the fist ever LGBTQ-themed Late at the Victoria & Albert museum.
Conversely, they also love a quiet life and 15 years ago retreated to live in a secluded idyl to subsist, to forge and to marvel at the wonders of Mother Nature, until a Section 21 changed everything...
