Pride Done Write - Free Writing Workshops
Join writer/performer Ri Baroche for a free series of writing workshops in celebration of Pride Month, with guest writer facilitators from the Transcribe writing & development programme.You’ll be guided through a series of writing games, activities and prompts to explore your identity as a writer and person, and how to hone the focus of your storytelling and craft.The workshops are free to attend, and you’re encouraged to attend one or both. For writers of all levels & abilities, who identify as LGBTQIA+ or questioning.

Ri is a writer, performer, and facilitator, who has been commissioned by the likes of OperaUpClose, Southampton Forward and InsideOutDorset, and funded 4x by Arts Council England to develop and tour new work. She’s been twice nominated for a Trans+ award in recognition of her support for the trans+ communities.https://www.ribaroche.co.ukTranscribe is a writing development project, supporting 4x trans+ writers from the Hampshire regions to develop their craft and enhance their writing experience. This project is made possible by support and funding from Arts Council England, ArtfulScribe, QueerAF, John Hansard Gallery and WeMakeSouthampton.Beyond Reflections is a trans-led charity committed to providing a safe community for trans+ people and their allies in England and Wales. We provide practical, emotional and wellbeing support designed directly with the community, as well as create opportunities for trans+ people to engage with sports, arts, research, and more.
