Hey there, you gorgeous humans! Join us for a Shibari (rope-tying) class for dykes, run by a queer teacher (@theaccidentalrigger + TBC). It'll be a nice ‘calm down’ session to connect with ourselves and our community after the pride weekend (insert love heart emoji, your colour of choice).
No previous experience is required for the beginner class. If you've been to a beginners class before and are comfortable with the double column tie and a basic harness, we challenge you to go to the intermediate session :) You got this!
For this extended three-hour session, we’ll have structured time for both intermediate and beginner levels, plus an optional rope jam to practice.
Schedule:
🕕 18:00 – 21:00
- 1 hour intermediate session (for those with some experience)
- 1 hour beginners session (for those new to Shibari)
- 30 min rope jam (optional free practice, 15 min time buffer included)
Ticket Options:
🎟 You must purchase a ticket for one of the following:
- Intermediate + Rope Jam. You will be able to stay and jam during the beginners session, at one side of the venue. Arrive when the venue opens at 18:00, we'll start the session at 18:10.
- Beginners + Rope Jam. Arrive ahead of time for a 19:15 start.
We will be at Anatomie Studio.
You can come solo or with a partner/friend – there will be plenty of people to practice with.
What to Bring & Wear:
✔ Rope will be supplied, but bring your own if you have it.
✔ Wear gym clothes or comfortable garments (underwear is fine, but this one is not a play party).
✔ Bring a bottle of water.
🚫 No shoes allowed in the practice space.
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and on street level.
Join us for this dykey, intimate skill-building session! 💜
