Unleash your creativity and celebrate the beauty of queer bodies, fashion, and culture! QueerLife Social is joining forces with the stunning West End Arts Library (formerly Westminster Reference Library) and the incredible Cabrolé for a special Pride Drawing Session. Set in a truly unique cultural space in the heart of central London, this is a night where queer artistry, costume, and self-expression meet the canvas.
This isn’t your average, stiff life drawing class. What makes our sessions unique is that we infuse high fashion and art to create compelling, editorial-inspired moments. Our models treat the space as their own stage, curating their own sets, styling, and playlists to create a deeply immersive experience for you to draw. (Fun fact: Nudity is not a requirement for our platform; expect bold silhouettes, incredible garments, and serious visuals!)
This particular session is a performative and visual tribute inspired by the work of Federico García Lorca, honoring those we have lost and those who fought for the freedoms we hold today. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or haven't picked up a pencil since school, you’ll find a carefree, judgment-free, and body-positive environment where everyone is welcome.
What to Expect:
- Two Immersive Sets: Each model curates their own set with a custom playlist, creating a richly layered environment that feels both intimate and culturally alive.
- Editorial Vibes: Expect gorgeous styling, dramatic poses, and striking silhouettes that are a dream to draw.
- All Materials Provided: We supply everything you need to create your artwork (charcoal, paper, the lot!), but you are more than welcome to bring your own favorite supplies.
- A Launchpad for Queer Talent: Our sessions are a platform for queer creatives to step in front of an audience, share their vision, and be celebrated. (Psst: Want to pose for a future session? Slide into our Instagram DMs!)
