✨ Bodies In Celebration ✨
A Brazilian Street Carnival Dance Workshop with Bellas Da Silveira
🌈 Workshop Summary
The workshop Bodies in Celebration is an immersive experience into the vibrant energy of Brazilian Street Carnival: the heat of the drums, the sparkle of costumes, the meeting of bodies, and the joy that transforms the entire city into a stage. The workshop invites participants to experience carnival beyond the party itself, celebrating freedom, collectivity, and the cultural power born in the streets of Brazil.
Through samba, traditional carnival marches, popular games, dance, and lots of music, you'll be guided through an experience filled with movement, improvisation, and collective creation. Inspired by street blocs, parades, and Brazilian culture, the workshop combines body, rhythm, and celebration in an engaging, welcoming, and deeply Brazilian experience.
Bodies in Celebration is an invitation to let the body move freely, occupy the streets with joy, and experience carnival as a space of encounter, expression, and cultural resistance
No dance experience needed - just come with an open heart and a willingness to move! All bodies welcome
