An expansive album that deals with the themes of time, honesty, as well as mortality. The album, which is over 90 minutes long, branches into different parts of the sub-conscious in quite an emotional way as a root of self-exploration with tributes to her South Asian roots tied to spirituality weaving it’s way through. Yazzie Min, Award-winning artist, facilitator and activist Yazzie Min is a spoken word performance poet who uses her art to push for meaningful change in the world. Founder of the Stand for Humanity movement, she harnesses poetry as a vehicle for truth-speaking and mindset shifts. Through her storytelling, humour and vulnerability she encourages audiences to awaken to their own power. Yazzie has commanded stages globally, including supporting world-renowned poet Rupi Kaur on tour. Her work has also been commissioned by the UK Asian Film Festival, where she created a short poetry film with filmmaker Umisha Bhatia. With a fearless commitment to collective liberation, she facilitates transformative spaces for activists, women and non-binary people of colour, embedding community building into everything she does.
RX (Raveena) is a multi-genre DJ, curator, and community advocate based in the West Midlands, UK. Deeply rooted in Birmingham’s vibrant music scene, she is known for her seamless, experimental blends of Amapiano, UK Garage, bassline, and Punjabi influences, creating sets that celebrate both UK club culture and her Panjabi heritage. Founder of DUNYA, RX explores the rich cultural intersections of the Midlands through vinyl, dub, and regional sounds, fostering connections across communities and generations. Alongside her creative work, she is committed to championing women and underrepresented voices in music, regularly collaborating with GIRL GRIND UK to help shape inclusive and supportive dancefloors. Her growing profile has seen her appear on BBC Asian Network, perform at major events and provide live musical responses for cultural institutions, including the Runjeet Singh Gallery.
Rupinder Kaur Waraich is a multidisciplinary artist based in the West Midlands whose practice moves fluidly across writing, film and theatre. Rooted in the feminine gaze, her work interrogates the intimate intersections of body, language, history, sexuality and spirituality, crafting spaces where memory, desire and inheritance intertwine. Her debut poetry collection, Rooh (2018), was published by Verve Poetry Press, followed by her second collection, Tigress with Wings (2026), published by Seren Books. Rupinder continues to explore and create at the intersection of writing, film, and theatre. At the centre of Rupinder’s practice is an ongoing exploration of the self through art, a process of transformation, embodiment and return that seeks to illuminate both personal and collective histories.
