Get ready for a night of hilarious improv comedy with Sam & AJ!
An award-winning duo, Sam & AJ have honed their craft at renowned Canadian institutions like The Second City, Rapid Fire Theatre, and Bad Dog Theatre. Now, they're bringing their signature blend of fast-paced, multi-character controlled chaos to The Divine. And you’re invited to the party!
Sam Roulston, a regular performer at the Free Association (This Doesn’t Leave The Room, Winner). He was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedian of The Year 2024 and 2025 and was a finalist for Leicester Sq Comedian Of The Year 2023. His solo show, CRINGE, won The Second City Best New Comedy Award at the Toronto Fringe in 2022. Sam recently returned from the Sundance Film Festival, where his film "In A Violent Nature" had its world premiere (now in Cinemas).
A Canadian Comedy Award winner and alumnus of the legendary Rapid Fire Theatre, AJ Vaage is a veteran improviser who stars in the International Emmy-nominated They Came at Night on Prime Video. He regularly performs with the Free Association and teaches with The London Meisner Company, drawing on years of experience touring festivals like Improvaganza and the Edinburgh International Improv Festival. AJ balances his stage work with an award-winning filmmaking career, boasting additional acting credits on HBO, Netflix, and the CW.
Sam & AJ will also be joind by some very special guest performers too!

ACCESS INFO
Sadly, both floors of The Divine are not currently accessible as we do not have a lift.
– The ground floor, main bar of The Divine has level access.
– There is an accessible toilet in the main bar.
– The cabaret and club space are in the basement of the venue. There is no lift.
– There are 17 wide steps down to the basement with handrails on either side, this is where the show will take place.
– There are two sets of gender-neutral toilets downstairs, they are not wide enough for wheelchairs.
