We’re launching the InterMediaUK Women & Non-Binary Collective this summer with our first event, bringing together LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people from across the media industry for an evening of conversation and networking.
This is a space for queer women and non-binary people in media, spanning TV, radio, print, podcasting, events, and more. These voices will be centered, creating a supportive, safe and visible space where allies are welcomed too.
Whether you join with colleagues or come on your own, this is an inclusive, trans-safe environment where you can connect with peers, share experiences, and build meaningful professional relationships.
What to Expect:
- Panel Discussion: Join us for a powerful panel chat focusing on the unique issues and challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people in the media landscape.
- Networking: Connect with fellow industry professionals in a relaxed environment.
- Support for All: Attending networking events solo can be daunting – but you won’t be on your own. Our team will be on hand to facilitate introductions, and we’ll set up a WhatsApp group in advance to help you connect before you even arrive. If you have concerns about coming along, please get in touch, we are happy to help.
- Hospitality: Enjoy complimentary welcome drinks and nibbles throughout the evening.
- Accessibility: This event is wheelchair/step free accessible. Please let us know in advance if you have specific requirements.
