The London Cruisers are excited to host TWO free basketball sessions this summer!
For Pride season, we invite LGBTQ+ women, non-binary and trans people to come to a free training session. All levels of experience are welcome – join us whether you are a beginner or an experienced player. We particularly encourage trans women, trans men, non-binary people, genderqueer folk and anyone else on their gender journey to come to join us!
The aim is to get together, meet new people and have fun while shooting some hoops! It will also be an opportunity to learn more about our club and our regular training sessions.
The London Cruisers is a queer basketball club run by and for LGBTIQ+ women, non-binary people and trans people of all genders.
Our first free training will be on:
📅 Sunday, 21st June 2026, from 12pm to 2pm
📍 New City Fitness, Hoxton, Redvers St, London, N1 6NE
There are no costs - the session is free! We will also provide balls, bibs, a first-aid kit and basic training equipment.
Can't make it that day? Keep an eye out on our socials for announcements for the second free Pride training.

What is the changing room setup at the venue?
Men’s and women’s changing rooms on the lower ground floor next to the basketball courts.
Two all-gender single-occupancy and wheelchair accessible changing spaces with toilet and shower further down the corridor on the lower ground floor.
Is there a changing room which we can have for our sole use while using the facilities?

Is drinking water available at the venue?
Yes, there is a water cooler next to the basketball court and another in the gym upstairs.
Any other house rules or expectations we should know about?
They have a notice board opposite the entrance to the sports hall with some house rules. Mainly floor protection must be used for any tables and chairs during games. No black soled shoes. No high heels or non sporting footwear on the court.
