Join us for our Pride month hike through the Yorkshire Dales! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
A great chance to tick off some trig points, see some waterfalls, and experience lots of lovely limestone views.
About the hike
This is a 14km linear route ending in Settle with around 500m elevation. We’ll be hiking almost exclusively on the Pennine Bridleway or the Dales Highway.
We’ll be following these paths through the rolling hills for roughly 4 to 4 and a half hours, before we finish in Settle for our inevitable post-hike pub or ice-cream stop. 🍦
You'll be able to get the train back to Leeds from Settle station.
Where to meet
📍 Long Preston Station, Station Road, Long Preston, Skipton, BD23 4NH
If you’re travelling from Leeds on public transport, we recommend:
🚆 The 10:18am train from Leeds, getting into Long Preston at 11:14am.
We’ll be setting off from the train station at 11:30am.

As always, sturdy hiking boots are essential. Bring plenty of water, layers, and waterproofs - as well as suncream and a hat! This Yorkshire summer weather remains committed to spontaneity!
We’ll stop for lunch somewhere scenic along the route, so bring food and snacks for the day.
As always, newcomers and solo hikers are very welcome! These walks are relaxed, friendly, and a great way to meet people.
🎟️ Grab your free ticket at 6pm, Monday 15 June
We can’t wait to see you out on the trails 🌿
