B.O.S.S. warmly invites you to an all ages coach trip to Hayling Island on Sunday 2nd August.
A day out for our Black LGBTQIA family and their loved ones where we get out of the city for a bit,
stick our toes in the sea, eat together, and have a few hours of sound healing, workshops and dj sets on the beach
before we head back to London.
The plan is to leave from London Whitechapel station at 10AM and return around 9PM.
We will have collective members acting as welfare and liaison points on the day.
In your ticket cost a packed lunch, as well as access to all of the workshops on the day is provided.

Ticket Tiers* :
Unwaged / On Benefits : £30 - This ticket is for individuals who struggle to make ends meet, who are unemployed or under employed and struggle to afford basic needs
General Admission : £50 - This ticket is for individuals who are employed, can afford their basic needs, and have access to savings but do not have a lot of money left over at the end of the month
Pay it forward : £60 - This ticket is for individuals who are employed, can afford basic needs, have expendable income, access to savings and still have enough money left at the end of the month.
Under 18 or over 65 : £15 - This ticket is for individuals aged under 18 or over 65 (please note under 16s will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult)

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I still attend if I don’t get the coach?
A: Yes! If you want to join us and arrange your own transport to Hayling Island you can get an admission only/no coach ticket on Outsavvy.
The closest train station to Hayling Island is Havant Station. From Havant Station you can walk 5 minutes Havant Bus station to get either the 30 or 31 from bus to Hayling Island for £3. The closest bus stop to our meeting point is Sea Grove Avenue. The bus journey takes 30 - 40 minutes.
All ticket holders will receive a Google maps pin link to our meeting spot for the day 24 hours our coach departure which can be used to locate our group.
Q: Is this an exclusive event?
A: Whilst our events prioritise BIPOC and queer people, they are open to everyone! Please see our safer spaces policy:

Q: What time and where is the coach departing from?
A: Whitechapel, 10AM (exact location will be emailed to ticket holders 24 hours before departure) Please be timely!
Q: What time will the coach get back to London?
A: 9PM
Q: Is there an age restriction?
A: All ages are welcome, however anyone under 18 will need to be accompanied by an responsible adult

A: There is a pay and display car park right by our spot on the beach. See the prices below:

Q: Are there accessible toilets nearby?
A: yes, there are wheelchair accessible toilets right by our base spot on the beach
Q: I have X access needs, will you be able to accommodate this?
A: please email blackobsidiansoundsystem@gmail.com with your request by Thursday 30 July and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that whilst the toilets and our meeting spot for the day is wheelchair accessible, the beach is pebbled.
