Doors: 7pm | Show 7:30pm | DJ until 2am
The Two Brewers, Clapham
Queer Theatre’s hugely popular, OutCast Showcase returns this summer with an unmissable evening celebrating LGBTQIA+ actors, writers and our stories.
Bringing together a compelling mix of emerging talent, returning favourites and established performers, OutCast showcases never-before-seen new writing, bold rediscoveries of overlooked work, and LGBTQIA+ classics that continue to speak powerfully to who we are now, all directed by award-winning theatre director Andrew Keates.
Drawn from Queer Theatre’s Acting Classes For LGBTQIA+ People, our Queer Play Reading Club and the wider Queer Theatre community, the evening offers vivid, intimate snapshots of queer life in all its beauty, mess, humour, rage, grief, desire and joy.
OutCast is more than a showcase. It has become a vital platform for queer theatre artistry. We know from our previous OutCast showcases that there is nothing more powerful than a night of queer stories, told by the artists Queer Theatre nurtures, in front of a packed audience of LGBTQIA+ people, allies and prominent industry professionals.
Tickets will sell out. Book now and don’t miss it.
