Come join us at The Front Room for a night of community and poetic exchange.
Whether you're a seasoned poet or just trying it out for the first time, our Poetry Open Mic is a warm inclusive place to share your creativity. Grab a cup of coffee, or wine, step up to the mic, and let your words flow. Open mic sign ups start at 6:30pm.
This month our featured poets are none other than our very own Roberto Salvador Cenciarelli and our dear friend Nasim Luczaj. Join us to celebrate their dual pamphlet, just released by Oblique House.
Roberto Salvador Cenciarelli is an Italian poet of Chilean descent. He won the Verve Poetry Competition 2025 and the Pat Kavanagh Prize 2025. His work was highly commended for the Forward Prize, the Ware Poetry Competition, longlisted for the National Poetry Competition and appeared on several anthologies and publications such as Magma, Seaford Review, And Other Poems and fourteen poems. How to Repair an Echo is his debut pamphlet.
Nasim Luczaj is a poet and Polish-English translator based between London and Glasgow. She was raised in the Polish Carpathians as a bilingual speaker, writer and reader.She is the author of HIND MOUTH (Earthbound Poetry Series), the winner of the 2024 Queen Mary Wasafiri New Writing Prize for Poetry, and an editor of the poetry magazine Wet Grain, engaged with land use, ownership and provenance. Her poems can be found in journals including Granta, Wasafiri, Oxford Poetry and many others, while her new pamphlet on love and landscape, Ultraviolet with Landing Marks, is out with Oblique House. Her debut collection, Tang, is forthcoming from Faber & Faber in early 2027.
