Cuba today faces an unprecedented level of imperialist threats and aggression: the US blockade has now extended to prevent the import of any oil, causing rolling blackouts across the country, and the US has issued a warrant indicting revolutionary leader Raúl Castro – these attacks could lead to some form of military operation against the island and an attempt to destroy Cuban socialism. This is the time to escalate the campaign to defend the achievements of the Cuban revolution!
These achievements include:
✪ abolishing illiteracy within a year; ✪ setting up a universal health service free at the point of use; ✪ universal free education to university level, including medical students from around the world; ✪ sending hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals to serve the poorest populations globally; ✪ implementing the most progressive Family Code which embraces trans liberation ✪ participatory democracy, referenda and consultations where all Cubans can participate in the revolution.
