For our next Theatre Club outing, we’re heading to Theatre503 to see “Love You Long Time (Already)” on 17 July at 7.30pm (we usually start gathering at 7pm).
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Katie Đỗ’s play begins in a version of heaven where Mai, a Vietnamese mother, is forced to relive an engagement she never expected to meet again. Her daughter Tâm is trying to understand her, and the play moves through memory, migration and the painful inheritances passed between mothers and daughters when love has not always had the language it needed.
As dreams and reality blur, it asks whether the afterlife might offer not closure, but a final chance to say what was impossible in life.
Our Theatre Club has a special limited allocation of tickets for £10 (instead of £24), plus a small transaction fee. Top quality seats as always.
