Join La Monocle and King Cupid Events for a specially curated evening of Lesbian & FLINTA* Speed Dating (25+) at Bermonds Locke.
Whether you're completely new to speed dating or a seasoned pro, this relaxed and welcoming evening is designed to help meaningful conversations happen naturally.
Arrival & Registration
Doors open at 7:00pm for registration. You are welcome to arrive to the venue earlier too.
All guests must arrive and check in before 7:30pm. Speed dating begins promptly at 7:30pm, and because of the structured format, late arrivals may not be able to participate. Please allow plenty of time to arrive, collect your name badge and grab a drink before the event begins.
The bar is open from 5pm if you'd like to arrive earlier and settle in before registration.
The Evening
King Cupid Events will expertly host multiple rounds of speed dating, creating a relaxed atmosphere where everyone has the chance to meet a variety of people.
Name badges will be provided to help conversations flow naturally, and after the event you'll submit your match form anonymously. Mutual matches will then be emailed to you once all forms have been processed.
After the structured dating finishes, guests are warmly encouraged to stay for drinks, continue conversations and socialise throughout the evening. Food and drinks will be available throughout from Bermonds Locke's full restaurant menu and fully operating bar.
La Monocle has exclusively booked the back section of the venue for the event. Some hotel guests may still be using the main bar area, but the dedicated event space will be clearly staffed and managed by the La Monocle team.
Who is this event for?
This event is explicitly trans-inclusive.
We welcome lesbian, bi, pan, questioning, non-binary, trans and agender people: anyone who dates within FLINTA+ communities.
First-time speed daters are especially encouraged to attend.
Arrival Information
Please enter via the main entrance on Tower Bridge Road, where reception staff and the La Monocle team will guide you to the event space.
Transport
A short walk from London Bridge Station, with excellent bus connections nearby.
Venue & Accessibility
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets.
If you have any accessibility requirements or additional support needs, please let us know before the event so we can do our best to accommodate you and make your experience as comfortable as possible.
The venue also offers:
• Accessible toilets
• Smoking area connected to the bar
• Quiet spaces if you need time away from the event—just speak to a member of the La Monocle team

About FLINTA*
FLINTA* is a German-originated acronym standing for Frauen (women), Lesben (lesbians), Intergeschlechtliche (intersex), Nicht-binäre (non-binary), Trans and Agender people, with the asterisk representing additional non-binary gender identities.
It is used as an umbrella term to include anyone who is not a cisgender man and who may experience patriarchal discrimination.
