Waltham Forest Pride warmly invites you to the exclusive opening night of Queer Lives of Waltham Forest, a new photography exhibition celebrating the richness, diversity, and lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people across the borough.
Be among the first to experience this powerful collection of photographs capturing contemporary queer life in Waltham Forest. Featuring intimate portraits, moments of connection, chosen families, local communities, and everyday acts of visibility, the exhibition offers a unique insight into the people and stories that shape our borough today.
The evening will bring together artists, contributors, community leaders, and guests for a special preview of the exhibition before it opens to the wider public. Guests will have the opportunity to meet participating photographers, connect with fellow attendees, and celebrate the launch of one of the flagship exhibitions of Waltham Forest Pride 2026.
The exhibition will be on display at Winns Gallery from 24–27 July 2026. Following its run at the gallery, selected works will continue to be exhibited at the Soho Theatre Walthamstow Restaurant, Walthamstow Library, and other community venues across the borough, bringing the stories of local LGBTQ+ communities to wider audiences.
