Why now?
Our team are coming to the end of a funded project, so we have evaluations, plotting, planning, and applications due, and need to prepare for our next steps. We have access to space once a month at QUEERCIRCLE, so we're using the next 3 sessions to do some work on our laptops, because company helps us focus.
We thought it’d be nice to extend the invitation to anyone else in our community*. Come join us if you’d like some space/time/company to do whatever you need to get done.
How it works
🎟 Sign up to join, so we know how many people to expect.
🔑 The building is swipe entry, so we’ll need to let you in!
🪑 The table at QUEERCIRCLE is big enough for up to a dozen people to work around.
🌬 There is air con, but it sometimes makes a bit of a background hum sound, so bring your headphones if you need.
At the start of the evening, there will be a chance for us to declare any goals/intentions for the eve (if it's helpful for focus), then we'll probably have a half-way break to check-in & congratulate each other at the end on any progress made.
*Bechdel Theatre was founded to create spaces for people of marginalised genders (this includes all trans and non-binary people, and cis women), especially LGBTQIA+ folks (we're named after Alyson Bechdel and the Dykes To Watch Out For comic strips).
