Belonging: The Rainbow Therapy Scotland Conference 2026
Friday 18 September 2026 | The Boardwalk, Glasgow | 9.30am–5.30pm
Whether you're returning to Rainbow Therapy Scotland or joining us for the first time, we'd love to welcome you to a day of connection, conversation and community.
Belonging is the theme we have chosen for this year. Together we'll reflect and explore what it means to belong to ourselves, to our communities and to our profession, while making space for the many different ways we experience identity, relationships and connection.
The conference is also an opportunity to reconnect. Since the pandemic, many of us have had fewer chances to meet colleagues, exchange ideas and build the relationships that help sustain us in our work. We hope this day creates space not only for learning, but for conversations over coffee, new collaborations, old friendships and the reminder that we are part of something bigger than our individual practices.
Through speakers, workshops and shared discussion, we'll explore ideas together while strengthening the community of LGBTQIA+ affirming practitioners across Scotland.
Whether you work primarily with LGBTQIA+ clients, identify as part of the community yourself, or are committed to developing more inclusive and affirming practice, you'll find a welcoming space where curiosity, respect and thoughtful dialogue are encouraged.
We hope you'll leave with fresh ideas, renewed energy, new connections and a stronger sense of belonging, both within yourself and within our wider community."
