The London Cruisers are excited to host TWO free basketball sessions this summer!
For Pride season, we invite LGBTQ+ women, non-binary and trans people to come to our second free training session. All levels of experience are welcome – come along whether you are a beginner or an experienced player. We particularly encourage trans women, trans men, non-binary people, genderqueer folk and anyone else on their gender journey to come to join us!
The aim is to get together, meet new people and have fun while shooting some hoops! It will also be an opportunity to learn more about our club and our regular training sessions. The London Cruisers is a queer basketball club run by and for LGBTIQ+ women, non-binary people and trans people of all genders.
Sessions are split by experience level to ensure everyone gets a chance to play:
📅 Advanced session
Sunday, 19 July 2026, 12:00–2:00pm
For experienced and competitive players.
📅 Intermediate & Beginner session
Sunday, 19 July 2026, 2:00–4:00pm
For intermediate and beginner players. Activities will be tailored to suit different experience levels.
📍 Both sessions will be at New City Fitness, Hoxton, Redvers St, London N1 6NE
🍻🥤Afterwards: Join us arond the corner at the Hoxton Hound for a post-session social. Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks both welcome!
There are no costs - the session is free! We will also provide balls, bibs, a first-aid kit and basic training equipment. Supported by Pride in London Unity Fund.
Spaces are limited, so please only book if you’re confident you can attend. If your plans change, please let us know so we can offer your place to someone else.
It will be a friendly and supportive space to play, learn, and connect. For any questions, please feel free to contact us at londoncruisers@gmail.com.
Can't make it that day, but interested in joining the club? Keep an eye out on our socials for announcements or reach out to us at londoncruisers@gmail.com.
