We’re taking over The Africa Centre on Wednesday 29th July for the first edition of the BOSS Social!
This space intends to connect ravers, nightlife workers and the wider Black/POC queer community outside of the conventional party space to encourage conversation, form new solidarities and create a relaxed environment to get to know others with a passion for the dance.
For the first edition, we’ll be providing some questions about your experiences of Black nightlife, what you would change about it, and what you feel its future could look like. You’ll have an opportunity to answer these questions and discuss ideas ‘Round-Robin’ style, moving around the room and socialising with new connections, alongside people you may have shared a dance with at one of our functions.
We’ll also be running an open decks throughout the evening, with 20 min slots available - if you’d like to DJ on the night, you can sign up at the start of the social, bring your USB!
