INTRODUCING ABADDON’S- A CABARET UNCENSORED
Censorship in Burlesque and cabaret started as a ways to ‘clean up’ the entertainment scene by politicians looking to turn art into something more palatable.
Pasties entered the room as a means for such performers to jump the legal loophole of the censorship laws suppressing them.
As the years have gone on, censorship has developed in ways where sex workers, burlesque performers, pole artists, kink performers and more are having their platforms removed… even when they’re working within the very strict and sometimes impossible guidelines from social media/ tech billionaires and trillionaires that are forever changing the goalpost to remove our viability.
NO MORE! Join us at ABADDON on August 1st.
Pride doesn’t exist without sex workers, lesbians, the trans community.
Pride is a protest lead by queer performer pushing those boundaries.
Join the fun at ABADDON - A CABARET UNCENSORED.
