The ticketed afterparty begins at 9pm.QUEER WAVE takes over The Pagan Arms for the Newquay Pride afterparty, bringing the energy of East London’s queer nightlife to Newquay.Join us for an evening of outdoor music, live drag performance and late-night dancing with Perrin, Barbs and Jeon Q.Perrin is one of the people behind Happy Endings at Dalston Superstore and has been an integral part of East London’s queer scene for years. Connected with parties including Adonis, Perrin has played at well-known events across London, Berlin and beyond. Perrin opens the celebration with a three-hour outdoor DJ set from 6pm to 9pm, free to attend.Barbs is an East London-based drag performer and a much-loved figure within the queer nightlife scene. With a long-standing career performing across the UK, Barbs takes over the main performance area from 9pm to 10:30pm, bringing live vocals, high-energy drag and plenty of camp.Jeon Q is now based in Newquay, where he is a resident DJ at The Pagan Arms, while remaining closely connected to East London’s queer club scene. He takes the party inside from 10:30pm to 2am, closing the night with a high-energy mix of house, trance, techno, breakbeat and garage.The outdoor DJ set from 6pm to 9pm is free.
