Everything Poetry Night: Tuesday 4th August 2026
Come and join us on the first floor at the Oystercatcher in Greenwich for an evening of poetry.
Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start - come anytime from 6. Open mic names are picked at random from a hat and you can sign up by putting your name in on the night. Open mic slots are 5 minutes long. Show your ticket to the bar staff for 10% off drinks!
Our headliner this month is the formidable William Wyld! William Wyld is a poet and visual artist from London who has been highly commended in the Forward Prizes, the Creative Futures Awards, the Bridport Prize and placed third in The Moth Nature Writing Prize. William is a member of Wild Thing eco-poetry collective, a Southbank Centre New Poets Collective alum and a Poetry Archive Now winner. Their costumes and scenery have appeared in independent film, museum and theatre installations accross the UK, and their paintings have been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Show and Discerning Eye. Their debut pamphlet The Butterfly Bush is out now with Little Betty Press.We can't wait to see William Wyld perform! See you on Tuesday 4th August <3
