To celebrate, we will be meeting at Redditch Library (2pm-5pm) to learn about zines and make one (or a few) of our own!
A zine is a self-created booklet that you can design in any way - about your favourite things, a memory, a review, drawings, something serious, or something silly - it’s all yours, and only you get to decide how it’s created! With zines, you are able to express yourself without aiming for perfection.
Information, zine examples, prompts and materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring things of your own to use or share. The activity will include practical elements of drawing, writing, collaging, and cut and stick.
Show and tell of your work is completely optional, but we will hold a space for those who would like to present their work!
No experience or confidence in your creativity is needed - and everyone is welcome, regardless of age, background, sexual orientation or gender identity; however, children must be supervised by an adult.
