this crafty session invites you to turn your outfit into a walking protest piece. bring an item of clothing you’d like to transform (a top, t-shirt, shorts, tote or whatever you want to wear to the march), and we’ll help you give it some attitude for you to strut down the streets ✊
for this special pre-Trans Pride session 🏳️⚧️ we are turning our space into a wearable protest station. we’re bringing a massive stash of fabric paints, custom-made stencils, sponges, brushes and everything you need to paint bold statements, political demands, or cheeky defiant art. let’s make sure your outfit has something to say before the Trans Pride march
💥 the manifesto:
- create more, consume less: weaponise your wardrobe and give old gear a second, much louder life.
- wear your heart on your sleeve: literally. use our stencils and paints to wear your values, your identity, and your protest on your chest.
- ditch the screen: put down the black rectangle of doom, get your hands messy, and feel human again.
🪓 the anti-workshop philosophy:
this isn’t an art class and we are definitely not your teachers. there is no right or wrong way to paint, no gatekeeping, and absolutely zero pressure to make something look "neat." perfection is fake anyway.
we’ll be there to show you how to sponge on the paint so it doesn't bleed through the stencils, but this night is entirely about experimenting, making a beautiful mess, and seeing where it takes you.
🌈 the vibe & what to expect:
a cozy, screen-free evening in a room full of creative, queer, chaotic, hot people getting ready for London Trans Pride together 🏳️⚧️
you can spend the entire night obsessively painting a massive custom statement onto the back of a denim jacket, or just try out a few quick sponge designs on a tote bag while gossiping and making friends you'll actually see again at the march on Saturday 👯
all paints, tools, stencils, and brushes are provided.

✂️ about the silly little craft club:
we’re two friends Lara & Pat who love nothing more than sitting around the kitchen table, chatting, unwinding, and doing silly little crafts for our silly mental health. it has become a small but joyful ritual, and we’d love to share that connection with more people.
we crave doing things with our hands, experimenting new techniques, without the pressure of making things perfect. we want to create a space where we’re able to fail and try again, surrounded by people who value the same things as us: creating more, and consuming less. for the sheer pleasure of making stuff. so we started a craft club! if this sounds like you, join us!!
we set up monthly sessions where we try new things together and we are building a little crafty community on whatsapp where we share projects and stay in touch. even if you can’t make this session you can join the group here.
✂️ let’s get together and make silly little crafts for our silly mental health ✨
we want to make the event as accessible to as many people as we can, regardless of financial status. if you would like to join but are strapped for cash, just message us on IG! we'd much rather have you there :)
