The introducing event by GRIT MAGAZINE of a three-part series surrounded around the concept of a French Salon.
This installation showcases our featured designer MEDMO drapped within the setting of flowing fabrics, and a live score created by the producers behind ONEHAND, all located within the confines of a penthouse in Hoxton, with curated food provided by PANGS TABLE. Throughout the night we spectate models in restricted spaces and we will hold three modes of emotion progressing from restriction to resilience and freedom. Following these progressions, our photographer will also follow this shift from the models, to the audience, with all images immediately projected onto the walls.
People are welcomed from 8:00pm onwards, once your ticket is purchased our full address will be sent to your email and our host will come and welcome you in. Please arrive on time to not miss any performances.
Live scoring begins from the beginning of the event, and will shift throughout the installation.
Throughout the installation, our models will be interacting with our audience with questions aligned to the stages of emotion, and people are encouraged to participate.
Curated food will be served from 9:00pm onwards, provided in collaboration with PANGS TABLE, and our featured chief Alice Sharpe-Neal.

GRIT Magazine focuses on societal perspectives and subcultural topics brought to conversation through queer fashion and textiles. Our literature and visuals are rooted in pre-stonewall thought that heavily links historic movements and voice into current society. We showcase the intersection between queer fashion and culture.
