Join us on Tuesday 23 September, 12:30pm to 1:30pm BST (online) to celebrate Bi+ Visibility Day with an empowering conversation celebrating the richness and diversity of Black and Brown bi+ communities.
Part of Bring It to the Kitchen Table, a community conversation series presented by UK Black Pride in collaboration with Bleecker, this event creates space for honest conversations about identity, visibility and belonging.
Despite growing visibility, Black and Brown bi+ people continue to face unique challenges, including bi erasure, misconceptions, and exclusion, both within and beyond LGBTQIA+ spaces. This conversation will explore the many experiences of bi+ identity, highlighting stories of joy, resilience, community, and self determination, while recognising the work still needed to create more inclusive spaces.
Hosted by Tashan Nicolas, UK Black Pride's Community Engagement Coordinator, the discussion will begin with an opening welcome from Lady Phyll, Co-founder and CEO of UK Black Pride, before bringing together a panel of bi+ speakers to reflect on identity, belonging, representation, and the power of visibility. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in an audience Q&A, contributing their own reflections and questions.
Sign up for free. Online event link will be sent after booking.
