Are you a member of the LGBT+ community ages 12–25 and love movies, gaming, animation, or tech? Ever wondered how movie magic like monsters, superhero battles, or beautiful animated worlds actually get made?
Framestore VFX, a company that has worked on a massive list of major blockbusters, and won multiple Oscars and BAFTAs for their work, is opening its doors in London for an exclusive, one-day Career Day in partnership with Access VFX and Mosaic Works.
Some of their notable work includes Avatar, The Martian, Guardians of the Galaxy (Vols. 1, 2, and 3), Avengers: Endgame & Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Dark Knight, and Wicked.
You’ll get a unique look at how visual effects (VFX) are created, meet industry professionals from the LGBT+ community, and discover the different paths into this world including work experience opportunities, apprenticeships, and internships.
Full schedule to be made available soon. Lunch is provided.
No prior experience, portfolio, or software knowledge needed.
Spaces are limited, so make sure to grab your spot early.
As with all Mosaic Works career days and employability events, showing up to this day matters. Because it proves you've got the initiative, engagement, and reliability to show up on time, members who participate will get extra consideration for upcoming paid work experience placements through Mosaic, including opportunities at Framestore VFX.
