GOOD ENOUGH: Digital Storytelling | Workshop with John Darvell
A members' exploration with NOCTURN.
We're making a piece that uses dance, technology, and the everyday stories that live in your body. Come and help us build it.
This is a space to move and to talk. We'll use the same creative tasks we're using to make the final work. You'll explore paper prototyping. You'll see how we capture movement using everyday tech. We'll talk through the methods and the thinking behind them. Questions welcome. Curiosity essential.
We're showing you the scaffolding: how choreography connects to technology, how we test ideas before they become live experience, what choices we make and why. You'll move, you'll make, you'll think out loud with us.
Good Enough: Multisensory Queer Storytelling is supported by Immersive Arts funding.
This is part of our bookable STUDIO CAFE offerings, addressing the wider needs of being an independent dance artist. STUDIO CAFE is part of our Summer pilot programme OPEN ACCESS OPEN STUDIO, offering bookable slots of studio time, alongside a regular programme of curated offerings on Fridays.
