Club Bananas in collaboration with SET Social invited you to a relaxed and experimental workshop making art creations with oil pastels 🪄🖍️
All abilities welcome - no prior art experience necessary.

Materials will all be provided but feel free to bring any additional supplies you’d like to incorporate (e.g - pens, stickers, your sketchbook/ art journal, coloured paper etc) 🎨
The first of a new series of Workshops: ”Experiments With… Oil Pastels”. These events will invite guests to explore a different medium at each session. 🗝️💎
For this workshop, we will be drawing with Oil Pastels in SET Social’s beautiful garden space. We can take inspiration from the garden plants and ambiance for our drawings (or just be playful and doodle freely). 🌞🌳
Club Bananas events are inclusive and low-pressure, drawing focus on the freedom and process of creativity rather than worrying too much about the end product.
The class inspires playfulness, experimentation and curiosity. A chance to let your inner child lead and play with different artistic mediums in a loose and abstract way. 🌈🌷
Guests are welcome to choose their own motif for the drawing or follow Artist Banana’s lead. There is no requirement to draw something in a realistic style- the class embraces abstraction and surrealist approaches! 🌾🌟
