Our free weekly LGBTQIA+ Qigong & Mindful Movement classes include Qigong and gentle movement practices with options and adaptations offered throughout.
Whether you're looking to unwind after a busy week, reconnect with your body, or spend time in LGBTQIA+ community, these sessions offer a chance to slow down, breathe, and nurture your wellbeing without pressure or expectation.

Our teachers take a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming approach, and encourage you to move in whatever way feels right for your body.
You can participate in these sessions either standing or sitting - chairs are provided, and you're welcome to take breaks whenever you need to.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an all-gender toilet off the main hall.

Introducing our Qigong teacher Claudia:
Claudia Cahalane (she/they) is a qigong teacher and meditation coach working with LGBTQIA+ groups, mental health groups, businesses such as Brighton College, charities such as Kew Gardens Wakehurst, Pride in Wellness, and a range of wellbeing events and retreats. Claudia also leads weekly LGBTQIA+ community qigong classes online.
Claudia trained as a qigong instructor 10 years ago at the Shiatsu College in London after finding they got lots of benefits from the practice themselves. Claudia also runs mindful tea ceremony meditations and is a journalist/editor. She loves to bring a warm, fun and simple style of movement practices to her classes, ensuring they are accessible to as many people as possible.
