Lady Ole presents LADILLA RUSA (live)

Lady Olé is ending 2019 with a good ol' bang inviting electropop sensantion and band of the year LADILLA RUSA to perform live onstage. Princesses read carefully!

LADILLA RUSA is the brainchild of Tania and Victor, two friends and journalists that share a passion for all things party and kitsch. This electropop / electrodisgusting duo from Barcelona have been in everyone's mouth since the release of their first single 'Macaulay Culkin' and their debut album 'Estado del Malestar' (State of Discomfort) in 2018. In the tradition of bands such as Putilatex, Chico y Chica, Las Bistecs, Alma X, etc. Ladilla Rusa blend dancefloor-ready rhythms with unapologetically fun lyrics, political satire, and trashy performances. They are currently one of the most successful and in-demand bands in Spain and have been touring extensively after the release of their last -and best selling- single 'Kitt y los coches del pasado' an ode to Knight Rider and the very peculiar story of 'Josemaria' a family man-turned-drag Spanish Hasselhoff. Spanish electro doesn't get any better than this.

DRESSCODE has been chosen referencing their song 'Princesas' (Princesses) which narrates the emancipation of 'princesses' in a brutal satire reflecting gender, state-nation, monarchies and heteropatriarchal power systems. We invite you to come dressed as a Princess of any kind, whatever that means to you.

MUSIC on the night will be served by residents Larga DJ and Alejandro Asencio (aka Los Alejandros). Expect your usual dose of Spanish kitsch, eurotrash, latin pop and queer hits from the last three decades.
