Programmers of Tomorrow workshop #1 - Research & Curation w/Kulraj Phullar
Programmers of Tomorrow's first workshop is facilitated by Dr Kulraj Phullar (NFTS). He will introduce you to ways of discovering more about the films you love and how to find films you have never even thought about watching. In a digitised world in which films seem easier to access than ever, US tech companies have creating an ever fragmenting field of streaming platforms, AI summaries and almost endless online commentary. Come pick up a (metaphorical) treasure map and some useful tools for navigating all this info from an experienced film studies scholar and programmer, all amidst the ephemera of cinemas past at the wonderful Cinema Museum.
Doors will open at 12.15pm. The workshop will begin at showtime at 1pm and run until 3pm.
