TRANSMISSIONS PRESENTS: Breaking Glass
Mia Thunderska continues her August residency with classic Brit music drama Breaking Glass (1980).
Brian Gibson (What's Love Got To Do with It) directs Eurythmics video vixen, musician, activist, and performer Hazel O'Connor as a singer-songwriter raging her way to the stage and burning out under the glare of the lights in a kind of New Wave riff on A Star Is Born with a legacy that endures to this day.
Find us down in the basement at Dalston Superstore to see it played loud and large on hallowed ground.
Subtitles will be displayed throughout the film.
Seating is a mixture of benches, backed chairs, bar stools, and floor space, and is first come, first served.
