It's great to be back after a break over the summer, and we've got an exciting meet up for you! Alongside our normal Open Jam, we've got the incredible skater Esmé Fenwick joining us from London to run a workshop. She is part of the StormSkater Academy, so expect amazing flows, steps and line dances!
Join us on Saturday 12th September at The Pyramid at Anderston, running from 1 - 5pm, expect rhythm skating, dancing and great music.
Here's the timings:
1 - 3pm - Skate workshop with Esmé - Informed by Esmé’s background in ballet, this workshop will blend together two key parts of skating - technique and building a flow. She will be sharing her knowledge through teaching steps and a routine. The workshop is open to beginners, but we recommend that you can move forwards and backwards on your skates.
3 - 5pm - Open Skate Jam - We'll have two hours of open jam where we can skate and dance together! We've got a DJ providing music for us too! This is suitable for all levels of rhythm skating. Come with friends or on your own, we welcome everyone!
You can buy a ticket for just Esmé's workshop or just the open jam, but we're offering a combo ticket for both the workshop and jam at a discounted price!

If you can't afford a ticket, please get in touch through our instagram as no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
Please note we do not provide roller skates and you will need to bring your own.
We want to make sure everyone stays safe, but there is always a risk when skating. So if you are new to skating please wear appropriate protection and we are not responsible for your risk during the meet up.
Ticket costs for the open jam cover the hire of the hall, snacks and DJs, and any profit will be used to fund future meet ups.
