Join us for a proper Yorkshire Dales adventure as we head out from Horton-in-Ribblesdale to conquer Pen-y-ghent! ⛰️
This is an 11.5km circular route with around 500m of elevation, climbing one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Expect steep slopes, rocky terrain and uneven paths leading to spectacular Dales views. 🌿
About the hike
This time, it's a walk for experienced-hikers and not suitable for beginners. You'll need a good level of experience with challenging hill walks. Good hiking boots and appropriate outdoor equipment are essential, as conditions can be exposed and changeable. Bring a hat, sun protection, waterproofs, layers, and plenty of food and water for the day. 🥪💧
We'll be walking for roughly 4 to 4.5 hours, with a scenic lunch stop along the way.
