Drag King/Thing Life Drawing in Dalston!
Kings for Life (Drawing) will be hosting a drag king life drawing event at Red Hand in Dalston!
We are dedicated to showcasing Drag Kings/Things as models and offering artists a fabulous opportunity to capture the essence of drag through art.
This is a Ticketed Event.
To make this event more accessible, we've a tiered ticket pricing:
- Standard Ticket: £15
- Concession Ticket: £10
- Low Income Ticket: £5 (For folks who struggle financially and want to come along, no questions asked!)
- Pay-It-Forward Ticket: £20 (For folks who can contribute more to support others to attend and the Drawing Class' fabulous models.)
Drawing ability does not matter; our inclusive sessions cater to all skill levels; we just want you to have fun!
What You’ll Need:
- Drawing Surface: Paper, card or an iPad for digital drawing!
- Drawing Materials: Pencils, charcoal, pastels; ideally, nothing wet to avoid making a mess of the venue!
Pose breakdown will be 1 minute to 15/20 minutes, as time allows. With a 10-minute break halfway
Don’t forget to bring your materials (although we’ll have a few extras just in case)! All skill levels, genders, and orientations are welcome!
📌 Important: Recording is only allowed with the consent of the model, and while nudity is not part of the workshop, models will pose based on their comfort level. As always, respect the model’s privacy and comfort. Some poses might be a little on the erotic side if the model chooses, so come prepared for a wickedly creative time!
